This privacy policy applies to the use of the Referio platform (referio.ch) by registered customers (recruitment agencies/HR departments), as well as to candidates and referees who are contacted via Referio as part of a reference check.

In particular, we process the following categories of personal data:

• Company and contact details of our customers (name, address, email, phone number, UID)
• Candidate data (name, contact details, position)
• Referee data (name, contact details, company, position, answers in the reference questionnaire)
• Technical data (IP address, browser information, timestamps) in connection with electronic consent/approval

The data is processed exclusively to conduct, document and analyse digital reference checks as part of recruitment processes, including automated summaries generated by artificial intelligence.

We use the following processors to provide our service:

• Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure, hosted in the Zurich region)
• Vercel (hosting of the web application)
• Resend (sending of system emails)
• Stripe (payment processing for package purchases)

Corresponding data processing agreements are in place or are being concluded with these providers.

Personal data is only retained for as long as necessary for the purposes stated above; it is then deleted or anonymised.

Data subjects have the right to access, rectification and erasure of their personal data, as well as the right to restrict its processing, within the scope of applicable Swiss data protection law (revFADP). Please send any requests to support@referio.ch.

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time. The current version published on the website applies.
