Referio was developed by Walker Trading GmbH. The platform grew out of seeing how much time traditional reference checks take up in day-to-day recruiting: coordinating phone calls, asking the same questions over and over, taking notes by hand – and in the end, it is often impossible to trace when and how consent was obtained.

Referio digitises this process: structured, documented and traceable – from the candidate's consent to the finished analysis. Our goal is to give HR teams and recruitment agencies in Switzerland a way to obtain references faster and with greater legal certainty, without compromising on quality and care.

As a Swiss provider, we focus on local requirements: processing that complies with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP), prices in CHF and a product built for the Swiss recruitment market.
